A rare and unusual Victorian oak and brass country house postbox, Victorian, circa 1884. The postbox is lined with its original leather, outside the door has a brass framed window with a hand drawn sign saying "Post Leaves at 7PM" , adding to the novelty of this piece. The top of the box has raised hexagonal rim work and a circular shape in the middle, creating a curved dome like appearance to the top.
